Strollin and joggin

Thank goodness the weather is warming up. Aria loves being outside which is perfect since we like to spend most of our time outside as well. We are planning a trip down to the beach this weekend for Aria's first time in the sand. Wish us luck! We hope she like sit b/c we plan on spending alot of time there! Here we are getting ready to jog and stroll so we can look decent in our swimsuits this season. Enjoy!

Happy Easter!!!

We had a GREAT Easter weekend. On Saturday we went to the Mobile Botanical Gardens and most everything was in bloom. It was a beautiful day..not too hot or cool and no rain! (rare this time a year in Mobile) Aria loves being outside of course and we thought it would be perfect. Grandma and Grandad Smith came down for the weekend and brought her a peter cottontail doll and book set which was too cute. Aria kept knawing on the ears. Grandma Riggs sent her many gorgeous dresses to choose from for the weekend. On Sunday we went to an Easter egg hunt and basically Matt and I found the eggs, moved them onto the grass and she seemed more interested in picking at the grass than the egg. We still managed to get some really cute shots of her though which we hope you enjoy!

Sitting up

Aria now has a different view on the world. She is sitting up all on her own!! Not quite 6 months old and she loves to sit up and play with all of her fun toys. She has become so much fun lately. She loves to play especially with daddy. Grabbing things and putting them in her mouth is her new thing. She also LOVES playing outside. I believe we have a prissy tom boy on our hands.

More Teeth!

Aria now has both teeth coming in. Her two bottom front ones are popping through. We are still working on introducing solids but it has been more difficult for mommy (schedule wise) than for her. Hopefully things will smooth out soon.

Our Little Girl

Aria is becoming more and more interactive. Here she is playing with daddy while daddy gets better from a very bad cold. Her last Dr. appt. She weighed in at 18 lbs! and growing strong.

First Tooth!

We can't believe it! Aria has gotten her first tooth. It is the bottom front right one. She has been such a champ and only had a couple fussy nights a few nights ago. Of course we did not know it was b/c she was teething. This is our first rodeo afer all. She is just about putting her feet in her mouth and soon I am sure she will be crawling. We will keep you updated so stay tuned.

4 Month check up

I almost forgot to update everyone on how well Aria is doing. We had our 4 month check up on Friday and all is doing great. We officially got the go ahead on feeding her cereal and beginning the solid foods! She weighed in at 17 lbs. and 11oz. Almost 18 lbs! Trust me, Matt and I thought for sure it was a lot more with carrying her around everywhere. She was 26 and 1/4 inches long a good bit over where she needs to be so who knows, she may be tall like her daddy. She got her second round of shots and did so good. Hope everyone out there is doing great so far in the new year and we look forward to an exciting and eventful one as Aria progresses.
